Restaurant “Il Moro”, whose name derives from the nickname with which it was named its founder, Mr Angelo, was born in 1950 by the will of the Tucciarone family, who, abandoning the management of the beach as a primary activity, decided to dedicate itself exclusively for cuisine.
The reins of the Restaurant are handled by the son Remo which with sacrifice, patience and love for this work creates a structure that can offer a best hospitality, becoming in the years a reference point for those who want to eat well.
In 2003 a tremendous fire causes total destruction of the structure but in a short time it is rebuilt, adopting all the latest technologies and also thinking about comfort for those who are disabled.
In 2010 the business is totally taken over by the daughter of Remo, Stefania, who, assisted by her husband, continues the work of improving the restaurant. It greatly boosts the workforce and decides to focus on high quality products and genuineness.New dishes are added, especially the part of the appetizers, including the raw fish every day, trying to always use local produce.
A part of the structure has also been refurbished by inserting inside the room tropical marine aquarium of 1000 lt. to remain even more tied to the idea of the sea and to the outside it has been set up a play area for the little ones.
The kitchen managed directly by the owners, is particularly cured in its own specialty, very renowned for the constant availability of fresh fish, all accompanied by a wide assortment of great wines italian and internationally selected by Simone, professional sommelier of the Italian Sommelier Association (A.I.S.).
