The restaurant "Il Moro", whose name comes from the nickname of its founder, Mr. Angelo, was founded in 1950 by the will of the family Tucciarone, who, leaving the management of the beach as its primary activity, decided to devote himself exclusively to catering and restauration.

The reins of the restaurant are taken in hand by his son Remo,who with sacrifice, patience and love for this work creates a structure that can deliver a better hospitality, over the years, becoming a reference point for those who want to eat seafood in the better way.

In 2003 a terrible fire caused the total destruction of the structure but in a very short time it is reconstructed by taking all the most modern technologies and not forgetting the comfort for those who have disabilities.

In 2010 the business was totally taken over by the daughter of Remo, Stefania, assisted by her husband Simone, which keep on working to improve constantly the quality of the restaurant.

It is largely enforced the strength work and it is decided to focus on high quality of products and authenticity. New dishes borns and in particular by improving that part of the starters by including the raw fish available every day trying always to use more local products. Today, the appetizer of raw fish and the Moro appetizer are the pride of the restaurant.

It is also renewed the structure by entering, within the restaurant, a tropical marine aquarium of 600 liters in order to stay more linked with the idea of the sea; there is also an outside play area set up for children.

With a beautiful terrace located 5 meters from the sea, in an exclusive atmosphere, the restaurant overlooks the beautiful coastline of Lazio. It reflects the passion of a family focused on the needs and preferences of its customers.

The great knowledge of the pleasure of eating, makes the service marked by class and elegance, with an excellent quality – price relation.

The choice of dishes is directly supervised by the owner, all the dishes can be accompanied by a large selection of excellent Italian and international wines, selected by Simone, professional sommelier and member of A.I.S. (Italian Association of Sommelier)
